Backyard birding is a wonderful activity for everyone: young, old, sedentary and more active. This presentation will review backyard feeding basics including food, vegetation, water and feeders. Given the right setup, your backyard may invite as many as 20-30 bird species in a day and over a hundred on your yard list over time. This presentation will include photos and interesting information about birds. Come and learn more about our feathered visitors.

4 pm discussion with the Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

Have you ever visited a State Park or Wildlife Area and left with a question of why certain areas are closed in certain seasons? What drives the management decisions for specific properties? Or who to ask for more information?

Join us for a discussion with CPW Managers about local access, considerations, and public driven conversation regarding concerns and ideas for future development.

This will be an informal conversation where you can learn why things are done the way they are and what potential we have for future change.
